I have been writing for almost as long as I can remember. I recall diary entries from when I was five years old in which I grappled with human issues that still plague our modern world, middle school book reports that haunted my days and nights, editorials in my high school newspaper that flexed my opinion muscle, papers in undergrad that put my mind in overdrive, lesson plans for my high school students that sought to challenge their thinking, blog posts because I’m a Xennial, case studies for my graduate degree that assessed and remedied reading difficulties, haiku and poetry that captured my early days as a mom, social media posts that connected me to others, and, now, blogs about my life as a mom, wife, and Realtor.
Tonight, I dove into an old, undisclosed blog in which I wrote a poem about children Danny and I didn’t yet have. Now, we have three ❤️❤️❤️
